National Museum of Australia

Project Overview

Built on 11-hectares on the Acton Peninsula, the National Museum of Australia is, located on the water’s edge of Lake Burley Griffin. The site houses 6,600 square metres of space, composed of several individual venues pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle, forming a semicircle around the symbolic landscape of the Garden of Australian Dreams, with its water features, creative landscaping and lighting effects.
